  • Represented national rental company against major hedge fund to compel completion of $4 billion takeover.
  • Represented major hedge fund in $200 million dispute with a global bank arising out of failed $1 billion mortgage-backed CDO-squared transaction.
  • Represented prominent family of hedge funds in 18 related federal and state court class actions and individual litigations, as well as NASD and AAA arbitrations, all arising out of criminal conduct of rogue portfolio manager that resulted in the liquidation of the funds.
  • Represented parties  in a  bankruptcy action by numerous European hedge funds and funds of funds against a U.S. hedge fund.
  • Handled numerous actions by an equipment leasing and finance company against companies that had defaulted under various master lease and finance agreements.
  • Advised and counseled several U.S. and foreign banks in three separate disputes arising out of the collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market.
  • Secured $12 million verdict for fraud against a national investment bank after a four-week jury trial.
  • Represented Controlling Class Representative of Mortgage Security Pool in discovery in mortgage-backed security litigation
