David has practiced corporate law for over 20 years. David advises corporations and other businesses, and their owners, on a variety of legal issues, including complex business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, emerging growth company representation, equity and debt issuances, general corporate matters and governance issues.

David’s merger and acquisition practice includes buy-side and sell-side representation. David has significant experience in representing private companies in their acquisitions of other private companies in a variety of industry sectors, including insurance, healthcare, digital media and other technology.

David’s emerging growth company practice involves representation of companies in all stages of their life cycle, from incorporation to exit, with an emphasis on working with entrepreneurs and fast-paced, rapid-growth enterprises. David also counsels his portfolio company clients on follow-on acquisitions, liquidity events, management equity and corporate governance matters. David has extensive experience advising clients in various diverse industries with significant depth in the media, healthcare, technology and sports industries.
